Cinema Projects
Here you will find my Cinema work relating to personal projects, academics, and student run film productions.
Into the Feywild - A D&D Short Film

Into the Feywild is a short film that I assistant directed. This was the first large scale production that was self funded and fully run by students. As Assistant Director, I helped in the auditioning process, casting, costume creation workshops, filmed behind the scenes footage, participated in production and post-production crew meetings, acted as the "Farmer" in the film, and currently editing the final film! Through this experience I gained leadership, directorial, collaborative, organization, and communication skills. It was truly a dedicated effort from all involved and a memorable experience I will never forget.
Bladed Game Chats Podcast

Bladed Game Chats is a podcast series I started because of my Writing for Podcasts class at Virginia Tech. I produced a whole series of episodes related to video game reviews and conversations. I have guests on the show and we discuss what specific video games mean to people and what they contribute to the industry and culture.
The D&D Experience - A Virtual Reality Short Film
The D&D Experience offers a glimpse into what Dungeons and Dragon is for those who have not tried playing before. But also showcases what happens at the table of role-play and combat and immerses you into the game by transporting you "in-game." The production was created due to my VR 360 Storytelling course. I gained directorial experience using a 360 environment and leadership skills to further a cinema production process.
Heritage Park VR 360 Tour
My first VR 360 Immersive Tour of Heritage Park for my VR 360 Storytelling class. This course taught me how to use Go-Pro Fusion 360 cameras, fusion studio stitching software, and terminology working in a 360 environment.

Kartakass - A Dungeons and Dragons Documentary
Kartakass (The Rough-Cut Version) is a Dungeons and Dragons Documentary I am currently working on. This film focuses on how D&D has recently moved into mainstream popularity and how D&D has helped/changed peoples' lives. Whether this be improving mental health, self-exploration, an escape from reality (COVID), entertainment influences, group therapy, or learning social conversational, and problem-solving skills to use in the real world.
Fighting Thoughts - An Animation Fighting Film
Fighting Thoughts is a film that is about the mental battle within oneself. Whether this be anxiety, depression, or fighting with your inner thoughts. This concept is taken and represented in a physical form through Kung-Fu. This representation showcases the mental struggle of what someone could go through with accepting and finding balance within one's mind to achieve peace.
Animation for Alice Underground (filmed theater production)
In my Experimental Film Production Class at Virginia Tech, I created my first animated background for the filmed theatre production, Alice Underground.
Fire Foley Audio Project
This audio clip was a project in my Script Analysis class in the Spring of 2020. We were tasked to create foley of something that sounds familiar and could be recognized. I created a campfire sound using a crunchy Dorito Bag and some other recorded sound effects at home during the beginning of COVID.
Nature Continues - A Studio 72 Observational Documentary
Nature Continues is an Observational Documentary about what Studio 72 members have experienced during the time of COVID-19. They explore the outdoors and share what they miss about being outside verses staying inside locked down.
The Protectors of Nuts - A Squirrel Observational Documentary
The Protectors of Nuts is an Observational Documentary featuring, you guessed it, squirrels.
Abstraction Film
This Abstraction Film was for my Experimental Film Produccion class. This was created in my dorm room, and we explored new skills by using blending modes in Premiere Pro.

Directed by Bri Johnson, I participated in this student film as a Co-Camera Operator and as one of the extras for the "students."
